Aims of Our Campaign

Now that we have researched options, consulted our members, and decided on a preferred solution, our aims are to:

  • Campaign to persuade Merton Council to develop and implement a SMART traffic scheme for East Hillside, based on the principles of the south Fulham TCPR scheme, so as to prevent rat-running and restore our streets to local people
  • Build our membership so that we can demonstrate clear community support for our proposals.

Individual membership of the Campaign is free of charge and is open to all residents of the East Hillside Neighbourhood who are age 18+, and who support the Aims of the Campaign. Every adult in your household may join. By submitting the form below you confirm that you meet these eligibility requirements.

Membership is also open to residents associations and community organisations which have a presence in East Hillside, and affiliate membership is open to any organisation that supports our Aims. Such organisations should contact our Secretary for further information.

We request contact data from members for the sole purpose of informing them about the Campaign’s activities, consulting them on topics of interest, and inviting them to Campaign events. We will never reveal contact information to any third party unless required to do so by law. A copy of our privacy statement is available on the left.
